I’ve tried several shampoo bars on my quest to get rid of plastic bottled liquid shampoo. This is by far the best I’ve used. It smells great without being overpowering & washes my hair thoroughly without the need for an ACV rinse…ever. It has lasted so long without disintegrating & getting mushy like so many do. I love this bar…buy it! It gets product out just fine without leaving your hair feeling waxy with residue, or leaving it stripped and dry like straw. I do still have to use a conditioner bar, BUT I have always used a conditioner separately for additional moisture, so that’s no fault of this product.

Ok, I was very skeptical when I saw the advertisement for this shampoo bar on YouTube. Most products like this I’ve used in the past have been disappointing to say the least. But boy, was I wrong here!
The shampoo lathered up way more than I expected and it rinsed clean with no residue. I let my hair air-dry, and with traditional hair products my hair is frizzy afterwards. But my hair is softer and shinier than it’s ever been with any other product! I got Sweet Sandlewood, and the smell is so amazing and lingers long after I shower. I would recommend getting the Conditioner Bar with it as well, as it really locked in moisture and kept my hair looking healthy and shiny.
I have completely made the switch away from bottled shampoo and conditioner. Seriously, BUY THIS PRODUCT! You will not be sorry! Can’t recommend enough!

This shampoo bar is great! The smell is just lovely and it makes a fantastic lather. My hair is soft, shiny and full. I am 57 and transitioning to gray hair and this product is really nice. I am always excited when a product does what it says. Well done!

This shampoo really cleans your hair. It gets rid of all the gunk and residues that other brands leave. The smell is great, I love earthy green smells like rosemary, herbs stuff like that. I think it’s going to last a really, really long time so I think it’s a good value. It’s a little weird at first, like I just rubbed it on my head for a little bit, and I was kind of confused but when you get your head back under the water after rubbing it, it lathers very nicely. I don’t know if that’s how you are supposed to do it, but it works for me. I’m not going to buy any other shampoo anymore, just this. That’s how happy I am with it.

I have been really hesitant to try another shampoo bar. Have tried all the big names with not so good results. But buying more product in more plastic, no go.
I waited for a few weeks to post this review for a few reasons. My hair tends to ‘rebound’ into a total grease mess when I change products. And, for some reason, my shampoo bar and conditioner bar arrived a week apart.
My hair did surprisingly well. No greasy rebound at all. Even the shampoo bar alone did just fine. Very happy with how my hair feels and it is very shiny. The shampoo bar lathers well and rinses cleanly.
Two things: one reviewer mentioned only using the conditioner on the tips of the hair and I agree. That’s all I really need. Using it all over the head gets to be a little heavy.
And use a serrated knife or saw to cut it in half so it looks like a half moon or a capital D. You’ll lose a little product in the cutting, but I like having only half in the shower and the half in a bag in the drawer. Don’t use a straight edged blade as the product wants to splinter, but careful cutting with a serrated blade does just fine. Then, half a bar of conditioner and half a bar of shampoo fits easier on a soap dish and I really like how it fits in my hand. The curve fits into your palm and the flat edge is easier to use along your scalp line.
Other reviews mention expense, and it feels expensive that all you’re getting is this small disc, but it is going to last. I’ve used this for three weeks and the half I keep in the soap dish has barely shrunk. I just ordered another scent of shampoo, and an unscented conditioner bar, as it’s unlikely Ill use them both at the same rate, and the unscented can carry over to whatever shampoo bar I’m currently using.
The only downside I can think of is if you might be scent sensitive, that could be a problem. I keep the other pieces in a bag in a closed drawer and I can still smell it. The citrus scent is tangerine, and I like it, but it might be a little much/a trigger for some people.
Updated: If I had smelled the sweet sandalwood on the shelf, I would not have bought it. I like the citrus, though. The sweet sandalwood is too powdery and vintage for me. Luckily had ordered an unscented conditioner bar since i will go through shampoo faster than conditioner. Good product and Ill use it up; would not order this scent again.

I have long thick hair. Yes this is my natural hair and color. I am a of senior age so I am careful with what I use on my hair. I bought this bar with the conditioning bar. I did an experiment between washing my hair with this soap and with my store bought products. I did use the bars for 4 consecutive washes. I have (forever) washed my hair and slept on it wet. I washed and conditioned my hair with the bars. (Side note, it uses a lot more water to suds up this bar enough to wash my hair and to condition it with these bars). The next morning after each use I did not have a clean fresh smell. It still smelled like the sun from the day before. The smell of the bars in the shower was so mild I struggled to smell it at all. My hair was fairly flat and I did not have my usual springy waves. I went back to my normal products and had my normal wavy soft hair back. A clean fresh just washed scent. Due to the price, outcome, cost (of the bars and water) and lack of performance/outcome I do not recommend it.

Love this brand of Bar Soap for hair! It made my air so shiny and soft! Brought out curls in my hair.
The smell is a plus too! Last a long time as well. Key is to wet the bar, rub in hand, then get hair wet and take stone in circular motions in your hair. Definitely suds up which I love!!

I’ve used the same sulfate-free shampoo for about 10 years and really love how it makes my hair feel and look. But I’ve been bothered with both an itchy scalp and oily roots that make my hair feel dirty after 24 hours, making it necessary for me to wash my hair daily. I didn’t think my shampoo could be the culprit because it’s sulfate-free.
When I saw this shampoo bar advertised as “optimized for a healthy scalp by regulating oily and sebum with ingredients that soothe and nourish the scalp while alleviating irritation and itchiness” I thought I’d give it a try. I got the “Simple Fresh” bar and was very pleased with how my hair looked after shampooing and styling, but I was thrilled that the next day my hair and scalp felt as fresh as it had right after being washed. No itching, either! I’m very pleased with it.
I got the unscented conditioner bar to use with it, but didn’t seem to have as much luck with that. It seemed to weigh my hair down a little, and make it dull-looking. I’m using the shampoo bar but went back to my regular conditioner and I’m satisfied with that combination.

I have long, thic, curly hair! This stuff is AMAZING, makes my hair so soft and not dirty looking at all. The conditioner that goes with this is amazing too! Keeps my frizz down. It makes my hair so easy to brush, and the clean ingredients list is always an amazing plus! 10/10 will be getting lots more in the future.

I like that it is silicone, paraben and sulfate free. I have never used a bar shampoo but it lathers well and feels conditioning.
